Who is a Carer?

A carer is someone who provides or intends to provide practical and emotional support to someone with a mental health problem. You may or may not live with the person you care for. You may be a relative, partner, friend or neighbour. You may be a young person, but now find yourself in the position of needing to support an unwell person. The information found here and in our downloadable version is designed to assist carers in accessing information that will help them in their caring role.
